EUCHARISTIC ADORATION STORY

COME TO ME

Day and night, Jesus our Good Shepherd remains with us in the Eucharist with a heart that burns with love for us. The Blessed Sacrament is Jesus, gentle and humble of Heart, calling you, "Come to Me, all you who labor, and are burdened, and I will refresh you." Matt 11:28

WHAT IS EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Eucharistic Adoration is spending time adoring Jesus in His Most Blessed Sacrament, and recognizing the Real Presence of Jesus Christ residing in the Eucharist.

WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT

We believe the Eucharist is the source of all Christian life. Jesus said, "I Myself am the living bread come down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread he shall live forever; the bread I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world." John 6:50-52. The Eucharist is the foundation of all liturgical functions, especially the celebration of the Mass which is the highest form of praise. The Eucharist is Christ our Lord.

WHY DO WE HAVE ADORATION

Why would a person commit to one hour a week for months, years or possibly for life? Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament goes back to the manger where Jesus was born. This adoration continued all His life on earth, by His mother, His disciples and all His followers. It has continued through the ages by many throughout the world. The Eucharist, a profound mystery, is the very center and summit of the Catholic faith. Once we allow ourselves to believe the Eucharist is the True Presence of Jesus, in Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, we realize a much greater connection to our Lord. This connection continues to grow as we continue to adore, read and learn. It is with this learning that blessings begin to pour over us. We realize that the blessings are in perfect synch with our daily lives and realize God is working with us and through us.

Adorers enjoy a special "Personal" relationship with our Lord. Upon entering the Church you’ll feel this relationship with the Lord begin. You’ll feel His quiet, His Peace, His real Presence. You can listen to Him, talk to Him or just sit with Him, but in time, you will become closer to Him than you ever thought possible. As Adoration continues, you begin to realize His many blessings. Jesus wants you to have every good thing! He is there for you and longs for your presence. He welcomes this time with you personally and His rewards are great!
